34 Weeks

Less than 6 weeks left!!!

So this is where I start having deja-vu of my first trimester- tired all the time, peeing ALL the time, and the feeling that things are happening so fast. Oh and feeling sick . . . but this time it's not so much nausea as it is acid reflux. Sad to say, but I've had to cut out coffee and my love, Dr. Pepper, as well as chocolate. It's insane what causes my tummy to turn lately- last night it was peanut butter . . . I mean, really?!?!

At this point, Ollie has been incredibly active, in fact, I wonder if he ever naps in utero. It's becoming more and more common for him to push out so hard that my stomach takes on some pretty lopsided shapes- and he still favors my right side, which is incredibly sore. I keep talking to him, asking him to please, please, please trade sides, but he's stubborn. A few weeks ago I mentioned that going to the store has been difficult- that's only increased. Sadly, I had to cancel some photo session booked for this month because I would have been in pain and wouldn't have lasted but maybe 15 minutes max. Even doing my own "belly shots" every other Friday has become a bit of chore- so I've enlisted my sweet husband to help me out by using the tripod and snapping them for me, instead of me running back and forth to see if I got the shot. But even though I can't do my gigs, that doesn't mean I'm not busy! I feel like I have SO much to get done between now and March 1st. I wanted to have everything done possible by the end of this month, but unfortunately, it's not going to happen because of the weather or me getting yet another stomach bug. Besides getting things done for little Ollie, I've been watching my friends' little 3 year old daughter twice a week- she is in LOVE with my little boy and has requested "Ollie hugs" constantly. It's pretty adorable. I've also been going to BSF (an AWESOME bible study covering Genesis this year), which has been amazing. And then, my husband and I are constantly planning projects now that he got a bunch of wood tools for Christmas from my parents.

In just a week, my best friend, Paula, from NYC will be here for my first baby shower (thrown by my mom's side of the family). I'm so excited to see her and help her plan her wedding, which will be in May. The first baby shower will also be tons of fun- can't wait to see all the cute things my family and friends got us for our boy. The second shower is in 2 weeks and will be thrown by our church family. We are so incredibly blessed to have such a large group of people who want to support our addition to the Jones' :)

Doctor appointments are now every two weeks- I go Monday for a check up and to see Ollie if is still breech. Funny, it feels like he turns around when I sleep at night, but then he's right back up, with his head below my ribs, during the day. He still has plenty of time to figure out what's more comfortable, which at this point, should be the head down position, but again, as seen on many occasions, he's pretty stubborn.
