10 Weeks Pregnant

Well, I am officially 10 weeks pregnant today and still feeling pretty good. Sleep has been my friend lately, and I have been taking advantage of late mornings during the week when I have the house to myself. I'll go to bed with Doug around 9:30/10, then sleep until about that same time in the morning. I've been told to sleep as much as I can now, because apparently insomnia will take over later, and when baby comes, obviously I will be waking up quite a bit in the middle of the night.

I'm trying my hardest to drink around 8 glasses of water a day- it was easier to do that when I was teaching because I was constantly having to keep my throat from getting dry. But now that I am a house wife- which will be changing soon with a second car hopefully- my laziness causes me to forget to take a sip. I've thought about getting one of those gallon jugs to fill with water so that I'll know to empty that sucker by the end of the day. Exercise has been nice- I go swimming at least once a week, walk almost every day, and just recently, I started doing some yoga flows in the morning. My energy level has gone up, and I feel better each day that goes by when I have actually gotten a workout. I think that's probably the key to pregnancy, and I know it will help me later on when I deliver.

Something kinda weird? My dreams have gotten very graphic, and sometimes when I wake up, I have to really take time to realize I'm not still dreaming, or that the dream wasn't real. Early this morning, I had a dream that we had our baby, and it was a beautiful baby boy with little toes and fingers and eyes that changed from blue to hazel brown. He was so precious! Doug and I had taken him to a relative's house, and we realized that we needed to change him. When I laid our babe down, Doug sat on the bed to hold him while I grabbed a diaper. As soon as he took the diaper off, the little guy peed directly in Doug's face. I literally woke up laughing.

Here' my first officially bump pic. I took it in the morning, when it's smaller and more baby, not so much bloat :)
