Oh the plans He has for me

If you haven't noticed yet, my blog address has changed! I went from "McReezie" to "McJonesie"- gotta love friends who create awesome nicknames.

Anyways, so much as been going on in just the last week, I don't really know if I have the energy to type it all out here. I'll just give the best details.

Doug and I found a house! We have been praying about when to dive into the market and what type of house to get. So much stress is involved in this process, mostly because tons of money is required, but we have really tried to put this in God's hands as far as timing. Last weekend was our first venture with a realtor who just happens to be a good friend- that was a blessing- and the very first house we looked at was just like love at first sight. Between last Saturday and yesterday, after many, many conversations, prayers, and our trusted family member's own views on the house, we put down a bid. We have to wait until Monday to find out if we won, and man, it's only been a day, but I am so antsy to find out! It's really humbled both Doug and I, though, as we know that all of this is up to God- if we get this house, then He approves, if we don't, then He has better plans for us. It's just that simple.

Aside from house hunting, I've recovered from allergies and all the not so fun stuff that comes with it and I'm trying my hardest to get back to what I was doing before- bible study, photography, and just being the best wife possible. Recently, I decided to start a 365 photo project. I had seen several blogs talk about how great they are, especially for developing better skills, so I thought, why not! I started last week, and plan on posting routinely to show ya what I've been up to. It will also be a pretty neat thing to look back on to see how my first year of marriage was with Doug :)

Here's week one:

I would LOVE your thoughts on my photography- seriously. The best way for a person to get better is to hear constructive criticism, and I am ready for it.
